Job Title: Local NYC Content Creator for Monthly Spa Reels — In-Person in Queens, NYC

Ascend Wellness & Medical Spa is seeking a local freelance content creator to produce engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Meta advertising. This is an in-person assignment at our spa in Kew Gardens, Queens, New York. Please do not apply unless you can travel to our location. We offer massage therapy, customized facials, laser hair removal using the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus, infrared sauna and other wellness and aesthetic services. We need someone who can make these services look polished, inviting and credible while keeping the content natural and social-media friendly. Initial Paid Trial One 2-hour content shoot at our Kew Gardens location Four fully edited vertical videos Approximately 15–30 seconds per video Treatment, facility, staff and behind-the-scenes footage Strong opening hooks and clean pacing On-screen captions Royalty-free or commercially usable music One reasonable revision per video Delivery of all usable raw footage Videos formatted in 9:16 and at least 1080p Turnaround within seven days Fixed trial budget: $250 If the trial is successful, we are interested in an ongoing monthly relationship consisting of one 2–3-hour shoot and approximately 10–12 completed videos per month. Content May Include Laser hair-removal demonstrations Facial-treatment processes Massage and infrared-sauna experiences Staff introductions Client testimonials Educational skincare and wellness videos Spa tours and behind-the-scenes footage Promotional and seasonal offers Videos featuring staff speaking directly to the camera We will coordinate client and employee participation and obtain any necessary appearance consent. Ideal Candidate Located in New York City, Queens or nearby Experienced filming and editing Instagram Reels or TikToks Comfortable directing staff members who may not have on-camera experience Understands hooks, pacing, captions and current short-form video formats Has a clean, elevated visual style suitable for a wellness and aesthetics brand Dependable, organized and able to meet deadlines Beauty, skincare, medspa, salon, fitness, hospitality or local-business experience is preferred Professional cinema equipment is not required. Strong creative judgment and an understanding of social-first content are more important than expensive equipment. Usage and Ownership Upon payment, Ascend must receive the final edited videos and all usable raw footage, with the right to publish, edit and use the content on our website, organic social-media accounts and paid advertisements. The creator may display the work in their portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
