US On-Camera Creators Needed: Film 5 Short Book Videos per Week, Scripts Provided

Paid $75 trial, then ongoing weekly work (about $500/month). We publish two illustrated fact books: 100,000 Whys for Kids answers the questions kids ask (ages 6 to 12) and is bought by parents and grandparents. That Can’t Be True! is a book of surprising true facts for teens and adults, often bought as a gift. We’re hiring 2 creators to film short videos for our TikTok, one for each book. We write the scripts; our editor cuts and posts everything. Who we’re looking for (pick one track) Track A, parent creator (kids book): a parent of a young child, relaxed and natural on camera, filming at home. Track B, storyteller (adult book): roughly 20 to 40, an expressive talking head comfortable with storytime, “myths you were taught” and “your brain does this” style videos. A plus if you already post facts or BookTok content. Both tracks US-based native English speaker Phone with a good camera and a well-lit spot No acting experience needed What you’ll do each week Film 5 scripts from our Script Bank app. Each is 15 to 45 seconds, with timed beats, a shot list and exact lines. Record every beat as its own clip, in order, with 2 seconds of buffer before and after. Film all 3 opening hook variants listed on each script as separate takes. Shoot vertical 9:16, at least 1080p, in natural light with clear audio. No music, filters or captions. Mark each script “Filmed” in the app when you deliver. You do not post on your own account. Children on camera (Track A only) Your child may appear in some scenes but never speaks and is never shown reading or choosing the book. Written guardian consent is required. Pay and terms The $75 budget on this post is a paid trial: 3 scripts filmed to our spec. It lets both sides check the fit before committing. After a successful trial: an ongoing contract at $125 per weekly batch of 5 scripts (about $500/month), paid as weekly fixed-price milestones. Reshoots: unusable takes (blurry, bad audio, wrong lines) are reshot at no cost. Books: both are shipped to you free and you keep them. Rights: all footage and likeness are licensed to us perpetually for organic and paid use, including ads. To apply: send a 30-second video of yourself, either talking about a book your family loves (Track A) or telling one surprising fact as if posting it on TikTok (Track B). Applications without a video won’t be reviewed.
