UGC Creator to unbox, install, demonstrate and review a smart blind motor

Contract / Project Description — Aperture Living UGC Project: Smart Blind Motor UGC Content Product: Aperture Living Smart Blind Motor — product supplied to creator and may be kept after completion. Diane will create natural, authentic UGC-style video content demonstrating and reviewing the Aperture Living Smart Blind Motor. Deliverables: 1 clean assembled UGC video, without captions, graphics, transitions, music, or other special editing. All original/raw video footage captured during the project, supplied in the highest available quality. Vertical 9:16 footage wherever practical, suitable for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Meta advertising. Footage should be well-lit, clear and preferably recorded in 1080p or higher. Required footage/content: 1. Unboxing: Opening the package, removing the motor/accessories and natural first impressions. 2. Installation: Clear footage showing how the motor attaches to an existing continuous beaded-chain roller blind/shade. Include close-ups of the motor, chain and installation process. 3. Demonstration: Multiple shots showing the blind physically opening and closing using the motor. Please capture wide shots showing the entire blind as well as close-up/detail shots. 4. Remote control: Demonstrate opening, stopping and closing the blind using the supplied remote. 5. App control: Demonstrate controlling the blind from a smartphone/app, including relevant functionality such as opening/closing and calibration/scheduling where possible. 6. B-roll: Multiple clean clips of the product installed, close-ups of the motor, pressing the remote, using the phone, the chain moving through the motor, and the blind opening/closing. Where possible, please hold B-roll shots for several seconds before moving the camera. 7. Review/testimonial: A natural on-camera review explaining your experience with the product, what you like about it, how easy you found installation/use, and your genuine reaction to turning an existing blind into a smart blind. The creator is not required to make claims she does not genuinely believe. The review should reflect her actual experience with the product. Content & advertising rights Upon full payment, Aperture Living will receive perpetual, worldwide commercial usage rights to the final video and all delivered raw footage. Aperture Living may edit, cut, crop, resize, add captions, voiceovers, music, graphics, hooks, calls-to-action or other creative elements to the delivered footage and may combine it with other content. The content may be used by Aperture Living across its website, organic social media, email marketing and paid advertising, including Meta/Facebook/Instagram, TikTok and other digital advertising platforms, without an additional usage fee or expiration date. The creator retains ownership of her underlying likeness/content rights, but grants Aperture Living the above perpetual commercial licence. Aperture Living may not use the footage to falsely represent statements or endorsements the creator did not make. Revisions / reshoots As discussed, general revisions are not included. However, if any required deliverable or shot specifically listed in this agreement is accidentally omitted, unusable due to a filming error, or materially different from the agreed brief, the creator will provide the missing/corrected footage without an additional charge. Creative changes requested by Aperture Living after filming that were not included in the original brief are not included. Product & shipping Aperture Living will arrange and cover shipment of the Smart Blind Motor to the creator. The creator may keep the product following completion of the project. The creator will provide the necessary shipping information through Upwork after the contract/order has been established. Delivery All agreed final and raw footage will be delivered through Upwork or another mutually agreed file-transfer method in its original/highest available resolution.
