Job Title: High-Impact Social Media Video Editor (Short-Form Reels, TikToks & Shorts) Job Description: We are looking for a highly versatile, creative, and experienced Social Media Video Editor to take raw video footage and turn it into engaging, high-performing content designed for viral reach on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. If you have a strong eye for visual storytelling, know how to hook an audience in the first 3 seconds, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to work with you! What You’ll Be Doing (Deliverables & Expectations): Edit raw video footage (event highlights, behind-the-scenes, product/service showcases, and promo clips, event recaps) into punchy short-form videos (15–60 seconds, or longer) Implement dynamic hooks, fast-paced cuts, trending audio, sound effects, visual transitions, animated captions, and graphic overlays. Format and optimize videos specifically for vertical and horizontal placement (9:16 aspect ratio). Deliver polished, ready-to-post drafts with a fast turnaround time (typically 24–72 hours per deliverable). Required Skills & Experience: Proven Track Record: Experience editing vertical short-form content with a portfolio demonstrating high engagement or viral reach. Software Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or CapCut Pro. Creative Vision: Ability to take raw, unedited footage and independently structure a compelling narrative/vibe without needing hand-held direction. Pacing & Sound Design: Strong understanding of audio mixing, beat-matching edits to music, and sound effects to drive engagement. Process: We provide raw assets via Google Drive/Dropbox alongside a brief overview of the goal. You bring the creative vision and execution. Reliability: Deadlines matter to us.
