Chess Video Editor – Talking Head & Reels – $275

We are seeking an experienced video editor to refine three pre-recorded chess content pieces for YouTube posting: two talking head videos on mindset coaching in chess (approximately 10 and 8 minutes respectively) and one long-form analysis video (approximately 45 minutes). All content is pre-recorded in basic MP4 format and requires light, professional touch-ups including audio refinement, trimming of redundant speech, and strategic placement of text graphics and split-screen photos at key moments. Deliverables for each video include editing with multiple rounds of feedback, custom thumbnail creation, and a 15–30 second short-form clip optimized for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. The editor will work on a two-week cadence, delivering alternating short and long-form content. Chess background is beneficial but not required; a portfolio of comparable editing work is essential. Compensation is structured at $75 per shorter video and $125 for the longer analysis video. We prioritize polished, clean, and professional results over clickbait aesthetics. You have creative input opportunities while following specific direction on content placement. No software preference—work with your preferred editing tool.
