Job Description
About this role I'm the founder of About Time for Justice (ATFJ), supporting survivors of institutional abuse, and I also run a personal brand sharing my own story of lived experience, recovery and advocacy. I'm looking for a video producer who can turn scripts into finished AI-avatar videos using a cloned voice, across three content lines. What you'll be making (36 videos to start, likely ongoing after that) - 12 x short-form Meta ad reels (lead-generation ads) - 12 x documentary-style story series episodes (AI avatar telling my personal story) - 12 x educational content videos covering different claim types (WorkCover, Superannuation/TPD, Motor Vehicle Accident, Institutional Abuse) for my personal page The look I'm after Realism matters a lot here. I want avatars that read as real footage — natural skin texture and lighting, tight accurate lip-sync, clean and crisp cinematography — not the generic "presenter reading a script in front of a plain background" AI look. If your portfolio spans a range of styles, lead with your most lifelike, highest-production-value work. How it works - I'll provide a cloned-voice source (a long-form podcast recording, solo segments) and a script for each video - You bring your own AI avatar and voice tools (HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Argil or similar) — I'm not providing subscription access, so please factor your tool costs into your rate - You handle avatar generation, voice application, editing, captions, pacing and music Process - Portfolio examples of AI-avatar / cloned-voice video work are required to apply - Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a small paid trial (one sample video, same brief) before the full 36-video engagement is awarded — I want to see real output and how you communicate, not just a portfolio What you'll bring - A portfolio that leans toward photorealistic, high-fidelity avatar work rather than templated or generic AI-presenter style - Demonstrated experience with AI avatar tools (HeyGen, Synthesia, Argil or similar) and voice cloning (ElevenLabs or similar) - Strong short-form editing: pacing, captions and hooks suited to paid social ads - Comfort working with sensitive, personal storytelling content with care and discretion - Reliable communication and the ability to work from a script without unrequested creative rewrites Budget Fixed price per video in the $80–120 range depending on complexity, paid in batches as videos are delivered ($2,900–$4,300 total for the first 36). The paid trial video is a separate, smaller payment. If the realism bar above genuinely needs a higher rate for your workflow, say so in your proposal — happy to discuss.
