Shopify Expert & Social Media Content Creator for FreeRun Leashes I’m looking for an experienced Shopify expert with a strong creative eye to work directly with a small team on FreeRun Leashes, my dog gear brand. This role combines Shopify technical support, website improvements, and content creation for Facebook and Instagram. I need someone who can confidently handle the technical side of our store while helping us present our products through thoughtful design and engaging content. You’ll also collaborate with our paid social media director on paid content creation. What you’ll work on: • Shopify support: Handle backend updates, theme customization, app integrations, product pages, and technical troubleshooting. • Website improvements: Recommend and make creative improvements to page layouts, imagery, navigation, and the shopping experience on desktop and mobile. • Social media content: Collaborate with me on ideas, graphics, captions, and videos for organic Facebook and Instagram posts. • Paid ad creative: Work with me and our paid social media director to create static and video ads for Facebook and Instagram, incorporating creative direction and performance feedback. • Video editing: Turn raw footage into polished Reels, product demonstrations, and video ads with clear messaging and captions. • Canva design: Create professional, consistent graphics and reusable templates that reflect our brand. The right person will have: • Strong, hands-on Shopify experience, including both technical work and website design. • A solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and Meta advertising, including what makes content effective for organic posts and paid ads. • Strong Canva skills and experience editing raw video footage. • The ability to contribute creative ideas and follow an established brand identity. • Clear communication, reliable follow-through, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. Experience with pet brands is a plus. If you haven’t worked with a pet brand, you should at least like dogs and be interested in understanding our products and customers!
