Video Editor for Tamil Short-Form Content | Premiere Pro + After Effects

Digital Seed is looking for a Video Editor to join our team on an Freelance basis. We work with businesses and brands on digital content, including short-form videos, social media content, branding and digital experiences. We are looking for someone who already has a strong foundation in video editing and can turn raw footage into clean, engaging and professional content. What you’ll work on - Instagram Reels and short-form social media videos - Client video editing and content production - YouTube videos when required - Motion graphics, transitions, text animation and visual effects - Occasional AI-generated/product visuals for video content What we’re looking for - Strong video editing portfolio - Good understanding of pacing, storytelling and visual composition - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Good attention to detail - Comfortable communicating and working in Tamil - AI video/image generation skills are a plus, but not mandatory - Remote - 3–6 month Duration - Pay: ₹5,000–₹10,000/month - Candidates who perform well may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role, with compensation of ₹15,000–₹25,000/month, depending on performance and responsibilities. Selection Process Round 1 — Editing Evaluation Selected applicants will receive raw footage and a reference video. You’ll be asked to edit the footage in a similar style. This will help us evaluate your editing ability, creativity and attention to detail. Round 2 — Interview Shortlisted candidates will have a final interview with the Founder of Digital Seed.
