Job Description

Newdle, a news platform for independent journalists and creators, is seeking short-form video editors to participate in a paid usability test of an unreleased in-app video editor. You will edit five distinct short news-style videos (talking-head, interview, green screen, graphics-led explainer, and stitch/duet/debunk piece), delivering each in both 9:16 and 16:9 formats while screen-recording your entire editing session with audio to capture your real-time reactions and feedback. This is a structured two-week engagement conducted under NDA. Beyond editing, you'll provide a short written bug report and brief spoken debrief after each video, culminating in a 20-minute call with the team. The $150 fixed payment covers all five videos, recordings, and deliverables. Your honest, unfiltered feedback on the tool itself—not your content quality—is the primary focus.
