Job Description
About us: Lumoriam is a mobile app that helps people create beautiful online memorials for the people and pets they’ve lost. It’s a warm, sensitive space, and our brand voice reflects that: gentle, respectful, and comforting, never salesy or flashy. The role We’re looking for a content creator to produce short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) and image posts (single graphics and carousels) for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest. You create the content from briefs and a brand kit we provide, and hand it to us for review. We handle all scheduling and posting ourselves, so this role is purely content creation, not account management, posting, or community engagement. How this works: Apply with the items below. We shortlist a few creators based on samples and tone fit. Paid test task: shortlisted creators are paid a fixed $25 to $40 to produce one Reel and one image post from a short brief. This is a real, paid mini-project, not free spec work. Whoever nails the tone and quality is hired for the first full batch (roughly 8 to 10 pieces). If the batch goes well, there is a strong possibility this grows into an ongoing, expanded social media manager role. We are starting small to find the right long-term fit. You are a great fit if you Have real experience making Reels and branded image content (Canva, CapCut, or similar). Write and design with a warm, emotionally sensitive tone. This matters more than flashy visuals. (THIS MATTERS MOST) Are reliable with deadlines and open to revisions. Bonus: experience in grief, wellness, health, memorial, or other sensitive or emotional niches. Important: This is grief-related content. Please do not apply if you only do high-energy, salesy, or meme-style marketing. We need calm, respectful, human work. To apply, please include Two or three samples of Reels and image posts you have made, ideally in a calm or emotional tone. One short note: how would you approach creating content about loss and remembrance in a way that feels comforting, not exploitative? Your rate and typical turnaround for a batch of 8 to 10 pieces. Applications that do not answer question 2 thoughtfully will not be considered.
