Full Time Video Editor | $600/Month

Do you want to focus entirely on video editing, work with a dedicated team, and improve your skills through clear feedback and training? We’re looking for a reliable video editor to join Timelab Media full time. This is an ongoing role for someone who wants to commit exclusively to one team. No German required. We’ll teach you our proven system for editing German content, even if you don’t speak the language. ABOUT US We’re a content agency creating short form videos for clients across different industries. We value quality, honest communication, and people who take ownership of their work. WHAT YOU’LL EDIT • Videos between 30 and 90 seconds for Instagram Reels and TikTok. • Subtitles, supporting footage, stock footage, and dynamic motion graphics. • Vertical videos in 9:16 and feed thumbnails in 1:1. • German content, with full scripts, reference videos, and clear instructions provided. COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $600 USD per month, fixed compensation. • 8 working hours per day, 6 days per week. • 1 day off each week. • 48 working hours per week. You’re paid for your working time, rather than per video. Completing a certain number of videos does not replace the agreed working schedule. We anticipate approximately 80 videos per month once you’re fully onboarded. Actual output will depend on complexity, revisions, and project requirements. IMPORTANT: EXCLUSIVE FULL TIME COMMITMENT If you can only deliver one video per day or edit for a few hours alongside other commitments, this role is not a fit. We need someone who can dedicate the full agreed working hours to our projects and complete multiple short form edits per day, depending on complexity and revisions, while maintaining quality. Once the full time contract begins, you must stop taking on other clients, freelance projects, or additional jobs. Please apply only if you are ready for this level of commitment. PAID TRIAL We’ll start with a paid trial of 5 videos: • $12 USD per video. • $60 USD total. We’ll evaluate your editing quality, turnaround time, communication, and ability to follow instructions and apply feedback. If you successfully complete the trial and meet our standards, we’ll offer you the full time contract at $600 USD per month. TRAINING & SUPPORT You won’t be thrown in without guidance. You’ll receive: • Personal onboarding calls with our Head of Editors. • Reference videos and clear style guides for each client. • Training on our system for editing German content. • Regular feedback and weekly check ins. Onboarding and training during the full time role are included in your paid working hours. WHAT YOU NEED • Video editing experience and a strong work sample. • Confidence using Adobe Premiere Pro, ideally with After Effects. Skilled editors using other software are welcome too. • Solid English for team communication. German is not required. • Reliable internet and a computer that can handle your editing workload. • Willingness to join Zoom onboarding calls with your camera on. • Availability to commit exclusively to this role.
