QA Tester – Web App Pre-Launch ($375)

We are seeking an experienced QA engineer to conduct a comprehensive pre-launch quality assurance review of our web application ahead of general availability. This is a focused, one-time engagement requiring independent exploration of the product to test both expected and unexpected user behavior, identify functional bugs and edge cases, and determine what needs to be fixed before beta launch. The ideal candidate will actively attempt to break the product rather than follow standard happy-path testing. The platform is a mobile-responsive web application serving two distinct user types: consumers/members and product/service providers. Special attention should be paid to account access, user permissions, user-generated content, community functionality, data persistence/integrity, and the mobile experience. This engagement has two deliverables: an initial findings submission by September 25 highlighting blocking and major issues (with immediate flagging of critical problems), and a final consolidated QA report by September 27 including full exploratory testing, edge-case analysis, and retesting of relevant areas.
