Job Description

We're Couponly (couponly.ai), an AI-powered browser extension that automatically finds and applies working discount codes at checkout when you shop online. Think Honey or Karma, but built around AI. The user installs it once, shops as normal, and at checkout it tests coupon codes in the background so they never pay full price by accident. Our brand is deliberately modern and a bit playful: dark backgrounds, violet and green accents, clean type. We are not a stuffy corporate SaaS brand and we don't want content that feels like an ad. The work We're building a TikTok and Instagram presence around relatable shopping humour, and we need a creator who can run the content engine, not just execute a brief. You will: Research what's actually working. Find trending meme formats, audio, and hooks in the shopping, online shopping, saving money, deal-hunting and "add to cart" space. We want you to study what's performing right now, not recycle formats from a year ago. Recreate and adapt them. Take proven formats and make our own version — new text, new angle, our own footage or clips. Not reposts, not reuploads. Write the copy. Hooks, on-screen text, captions, hashtags. The joke matters more than the production value. Deliver video only. No static images, no carousels. Short-form vertical video only. Content ratio – important We work in sets of three: Video 1: pure shopping / online shopping / saving money meme. No brand mention at all. Video 2: pure shopping / online shopping / saving money meme. No brand mention at all. Video 3: same style of meme, but Couponly is mentioned naturally inside the video — usually as the punchline or the solution. So one in every three videos references the brand. The other two exist purely to be funny and to build the account. Brand mention rules Couponly is mentioned inside the video only — spoken, on-screen text, or as part of the joke. Never "link in bio," never "download now," never "check out our extension," never a call to action of any kind. No discount codes, no promo language, no urgency. If a viewer can tell they just watched an ad, the video failed. The goal is brand familiarity through repetition and humour, not clicks. What we're looking for Proven experience making short-form meme content that performs (send us accounts and view counts, not a portfolio PDF) Native-level English and a real feel for internet humour Fast editing in CapCut or similar Ability to source or shoot your own clips Consistent output — this is ongoing work, not a one-off batch To apply, please include Links to TikTok or Instagram accounts you've made content for, with rough view numbers Two or three quick meme concepts for the shopping / saving niche — one line each is fine, we just want to see how you think Your rate per video and how many videos you can deliver per week Whether you appear on camera or work with clips and text only Start with a paid trial batch. If the videos land, this becomes a long-term monthly arrangement.
